Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by family, at the General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Tuesday January 30th, 2007 in the age of 72. Onorio, beloved husband of the late Ilde Recchia. Loving father of Grace and Mario Capraro, Pina and Maurizio Morabito, Angela and Joe Hamilton, Laura and Rob McFarland and Mauro. Dear grandpa of John (Kerri), Maria (Wayne), Daniel, Sabrina-Lisa, Nicholas, Jake and Isabella and great grandpa of Evan, Alexander and Kalan. Dear brother of Domenico and Anna Greco. Mr. Recchia’s visitation will be at Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. then to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Elgin Street, Collingwood for a Funeral Mass on Friday, February 2nd, 2007 at 1 P.M. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
