Margaret Sarah Gordon

Passed away peacefully to the arms of her Lord on Saturday, February 3^rd, 2007. Born March 12^th, 1905 (101 years).

Loving wife of the late Hugh F. Gordon. Beloved mother of Franklin (Helen) Gordon of Whitby, Marjorie (late W. Basil) Gorman of Ottawa, and Mary (Lib) (Robert) Thompson of Collingwood. Cherished grandmother of Robert (Krystyne), Steven (Beverly) Gordon, Carol Anne (Charles) Fisher, Julie (Ron) Varty, Cheryl Anne Gorman (Patrick Currie), Michele (Russell) DeWitt, Hugh (Louisa) Gorman, William Thompson (Lisa Pratt), John Thompson (Patricia Pardon) and Gordon Thompson (Nancy Curlew). Great-grandmother to Lyndsey, Jason (Michele), Sandra Gordon, Matthew, Emily Fisher, Sara (Kenneth) Short, Breianne Varty, Jan DeWitt, Chlóe, Owen Gorman, Katey Meinster, Benjamin and Danielle Thompson. Great-great-grandmother to Sydney, Reid and Mackenzie Gordon. Dear sister of Alyce (Harold) Plater, Mary (James) Morrison of Collingwood, Doris Herrington (late Ed Wheeler) of Kingston and Sharon Griffith of London. Margaret will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Percy and Lisa Leal, sister Charlotte (Ernest) Haynes, brothers Alfred (Donelda), Harry (Florence), Fred (Viva) and Robert (Gladys) Leal. Member of First Baptist Church since 1921.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 7^th, 2007, at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, Collingwood. Spring interment at Westmount Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to First Baptist Church would be appreciated.
