Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General
Hospital, Penetanguishene, on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010, in his 92nd
year. Ben, beloved husband of Florence
(nee Burgess) for 62 years. Loving father of Alice and her husband Terry Paetsch of
Calgary, Robert of Brampton, Helen Leavell of Brampton and Susie and her
husband David Morton of Collingwood. Dear
Papa of Melanie (Duncan Hecht), Miranda (Dennis Christenson), Allison (Scott
Buckley), Ainsley Murray, Lincoln Mixamong and six great-grandsons. Brother of
Evelyn Whiteside, Ruth Land and the late Roberta Bessie (Ben’s twin) and
Bernice Todd.
Visitation will be held at Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood,
on Friday July 30th, 2010, from 2-4 Pm & 7-9 PM. A funeral
service will take place at Christ Church Batteaux, on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment
Christ Church Cemetery.
Donations made to Hospice or Christ Church Batteaux would be appreciated by the family.
